Enjoy Morning tea on the deck of the Sarah Riley Theatre at the Waltzing Matilda Centre on Sunday 6 April to honour Australia’s unofficial national anthem, Waltzing Matilda (1895) with lyrics by Banjo Paterson.
Watch a sheep shearing demonstration, followed by the spinning of wool. Bring along your own whip (or borrow one) and refine your whip cracking skills, or admire the beauty of opals presented by a local opal miner.
