The Winton Hotel was established in 1899. Ellen and Peter Evert held the Winton Hotel in the family up to the 1970's when Tom and Maureen Kelleher (Maureen nee Evert), it was sold just after the Kellehers left the district. The Winton Hotel was also owned by the Lowth Family at some stage. Currently, there is a grassed beer garden which is dog friendly, inside seating is also available. The Winton Hotel also has 10 budget accommodation rooms renovated in 2023. They are tidy, quiet and coupled with great food, cold refreshments and a friendly atmosphere.
